For ‘Drive It Day’ 2023 we are delighted to be joining Heckington Auto Club who have organised the first of their regular car shows for 2023 at Heckington Pavilion, with free entry and free parking, a coffee shop, bar and toilets, and refreshments in return for donations to their chosen charity: Prostrate Cancer UK.

We will be meeting at 1100hrs on Sunday the 23rd at Somers Road car park, Wisbech, for departure at 1130hrs to drive to the show which opens at 1300hrs and we look forward to seeing as many of you all as possible.

The venue will not be not opening their gates until 1300hrs so this will be a leisurely drive up the A17, hopefully allowing the convoy to stay together and arrive together. Vehicles will not be able to access the Pavilion field any earlier than 1300hrs so please do not overtake unless you are planning a detour!

Start: Somers Road Car Park, Wisbech, 1100hrs (departure 1130hrs)

Finish: Heckington Pavilion, Howell Rd, Heckington, Sleaford NG34 9RX 1300hrs (no earlier).

If we find ourselves making too much speed on the day, there is a very large lay-area off the A17, just after East Heckington and Heckington MOT Centre, and shortly before our turn off into Heckington itself, where we can re-group and pause if necessary. We will do this if we pass East Heckington before 1245 hrs. The post code for this potential pause point is: NG34 9LU
